Great experience

For pre and post consultations I was seen by Mr. Aho in Devonshire Street whilst the operation was at The Princess Grace Hospital. My experience on all three occasions was very positive from Mr. Aho himself, staff and facilities.

We're always had a wonderful experience with the Childhealthy team. Their communication and follow-up is always swift, thorough, and efficient.

Not a good experience. I was referred by my physio for an MRI on my foot, and at no point was I told that the scan would include both my foot and ankle as separate items. I assumed it would all be part of one scan. I was charged for both separately, which brought the total to £1,050—an unexpectedly high amount, especially for a young person trying to manage costs. I was not given any quote or cost breakdown beforehand, which is extremely disappointing.I had the scan done on a Tuesday and was told I’d receive the results within 24–48 hours, but I didn’t get them until a week later. The lack of communication, unexpected charges, and delays made this a very frustrating experience overall. Never ever one to complain but this meant a massive deal to me!

Very, very impressive all round. I was apprehensive ahead of my operation (it involved significant surgery and general anaesthetic), but every single person I interacted with was extremely professional, courteous, thoughtful and reassuring. I was extremely impressed with Mr Pollock, his anaesthetist (Mike) and the two orderlies who looked after me pre-op (Sam) and post-op (Marwan).

I can’t recommend Dr. Teresa Castiello highly enough. From my first appointment, she put me at ease with her warmth and professionalism. Dealing with heart issues is daunting, but with Dr. Castiello, I always felt in safe hands. Her attention to detail and thoughtful approach made a real difference, not just for me but for my family too. She listens, she reassures, and most importantly, she makes you feel looked after. What sets her apart is her dedication—not just to cardiology, but to people. She treats her patients with kindness and respect, always making sure they feel supported. It’s rare to find someone so skilled yet so down-to-earth, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been under her care. If you’re looking for a cardiologist who is not only brilliant at what she does but also compassionate and approachable, Dr. Castiello is the one.

Saw Dr Shidrawi who was exceptional as always. His clinic was running late however I appreciated that the receptionist informed me of this as soon as I arrived.
