I turned to Weightmatters for psychological therapy with the hope of "rewiring" my thinking, especially around how I used food to cope with emotional pain. At the time, I was uncertain and even skeptical about whether real change was possible. But looking back now, I hardly recognize the version of myself who first walked through those doors. The staff here are incredible and I have been blown away by the level of care I’ve received. They have made this experience so much easier and because of them I never dreaded going into the hospital to receive treatment.

The doctor took a long time talking about things that had nothing to do with the patient, such as talking about other patients she'd had and what they were suffering from. I was very frustrated because she talked about so many irrelevant things.
