Very friendly Clinic both the reception and Osteopath David Propert. I’ve Been coming to the Clinic since 2021. Value David’s expertise and treatments for various ailments over the years. David was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend David and Calmer Clinics.

The Wellbeing and Recovery Collective provide me with a safe space to openly explore issues blocking my recovery in a group setting. James is very knowledgeable about eating disorders and has helped me understand my condition, the triggers as well as supporting me to work on strategies to stay on track with my recovery. He is a calming and encouraging presence in group. I am extremely grateful for the support I have received. My recovery has improved hugely under his guidance.

I owe my life and happiness to getting the help I needed and finally being able to recover. I felt truly hopeless and getting therapy was my final try to recover from my eating disorder. And it worked! It wasn’t easy, not going to lie. It was a rollercoaster but so worth it. Throughout therapy I was always reminded of the bigger picture while making small steps, one day at a time. Went through highs and lows and in the end got my life back. The honesty in therapy was wat stood out most. I was faced with the fact it was never about the food. Not focussing on food but the feelings that were covered helped me process all that stood in the way if living my life. It’s so easy to do nothing, but it’s much more powerful to act and fight for your right to live. I worked hard for years. Found peace and the love of my life (literally being in treatment) who I can call my husband. The greatest thing I ever learned is to love and be loved in return.

I have found the clinic staff to be very helpful and professional and very responsive to any queries. Overall I am very happy with my experience at The Forbes Clinic.

The overall experience was very good but with some reservations about the amount of internal meetings the doctors and staff attend. In general the nurses and staff are very helpful. Of particular note was the excellent lower ward court manager Tahera Taurobally. She was always attentive and extremely helpful to my husband when he visited me. My only minor issue is that as flowers are allowed in the room could they please provide plastic vases. !! Careful consideration should be given to the high weekly costs for care.

Seen on time. It was a very warm day though and the reception area would benefit from better air conditioning or fans.
