Prof.Purkayastha was absolutely brilliant. He is professional and a caring doctor. He goes into the depths to rule out any issues and reassures the patient. I have had a great experience with him.

I attended a post procedure consultation with Dr Shah. The results she gave me did not match her follow up letter to my GP (copied to myself). This resulted in confusion for both my GP & myself. The dose of Mesalazine I have been taking which was prescribed by Dr Shah, was doubled in her letter!!! She said in her letter that I find it difficult to remember the correct dose to take. I simply told her that it was sometimes hard to remember the middle of the day dose. Both morning and evening are no problem. There were other comments written that did not match what I was told. I emailed her and the reply was I would hear after 20 May (maybe she is away but this was not explained) thus I still await her response. I have attended Benenden several times over the many years of membership and have found the consultants and treatment to be excellent. My experience this time was sadly disappointing and misleading.

Mr Johnson’s warm and welcoming manners made me feel at ease and cared for and his explanations as to his findings after various tests were clear and reassuring.

Dr majumdar made me feel like I mattered and wanted to help me. He is very caring and professional and will try his hardest to help. I am so grateful to him with helping me after years of not getting help from other doctors he was the only one to listen to me and get me the help I needed and I'm so grateful for that
