Since the first consultation to now me being discharged Dr Marais has helped me endlessly in ensuring that I am finally clear of recurrent sinus infections. After years of suffering Dr Marais was able to help me instantly and for the first time in winter I have not got a sinus infection! He explained everything in depth and ensured I was fully informed throughout the whole process. Even during my hospital stay he checked up on me and helped when I had a side effect from the medication (unrelated to the sinus operation). I’m so grateful I was able to have him as my doctor as I’m finally cured after years of antibiotics. Even post op he made sure to only discharge me until he was fully confident I was ok!
