A fantastic hospital with a lovely atmosphere, where all the staff are very friendly and empathetic. The single rooms are wonderfully quiet allowing you to rest and recover more easily. Thank you for looking after an NHS patient ☺️

My time spent at Stoneygate Eye Hospital was pleasant. I was here for my second cataract removal treatment. Again all the staff were pleasant, helpful, kind, reassuring and ever so brilliant at their profession. Thank you for making me see again.

Very clean

All the staff I had contact with were very supportive especially in theatre area. However I felt the cleanliness of my room although clean to start with this standard was not kept up during my 36 hour stay. My gown and dirty sheets were just left on the floor throughout and no bin was emptied or bathroom cleaned which surprised me.

Very pleasant modern facility with very good staff. Like so many hospitals....parking is a problem. The new car park open opened by the hospital is far too small. The parking problem will get a lot worse if the council proceeds with their proposal to mark all nearby roads on this industrial estate with double yellow lines. .....this will reduce nearby parking spaces by around 60 cars.

A quick and efficient service

From the moment I had my initial first consultation with Mr Sheehan to my Cataract surgery with Mr El-Ashry the professionalism in making me at ease was second to none, I was by far not the easiest of patients to due a extremely sensitive right eye to artificial light but they had the patience to make things more bearable. After 8 weeks I had a minor complication but the aftercare was perfect too and my eye now sees 20 20 for the first time in my life, totally life changing as I can now play sport with no need for glasses!!
