I remember having my first 15-minute call with Rachael, and despite my nerves, I felt immediate relief in speaking with someone external, empathetic, and non-judgmental. For the first time, I could respond honestly to questions that often feel taboo in everyday conversations—especially those surrounding food and emotion—and I was met not with blame or disgust. Never once did I feel reduced to stereotypes like “you simply have no self-control around food or your emotions”. Both Rachael and Clare speak to me as I am: a person seeking healing from something I never chose. Their combined approach allows me to express any thought, no matter how uncomfortable or taboo, and helps me explore the why behind my thinking. This has given me a deeper understanding of myself, my triggers, and the coping mechanisms that actually work for me. Their compassion has let me start to believe that I deserve kindness from myself. I’m incredibly grateful to have found a team that works so thoughtfully and skilfully together.
