Steve is engaged and attentive all while remaining professional with his work. He asks deliberate questions which promote reflection and challenge the ways I think. He has always been well organised with booking sessions and flexible with rearranging on occasions where I may be busy. It is clear he has substantial knowledge and training in his field but with a personal and mindful touch. He is excellent at creating a comfortable and safe space to open up about anything I would like, as well as actively listening to things I want from therapy.

I turned to Weightmatters for psychological therapy with the hope of "rewiring" my thinking, especially around how I used food to cope with emotional pain. At the time, I was uncertain and even skeptical about whether real change was possible. But looking back now, I hardly recognize the version of myself who first walked through those doors. The journey has been transformative, and I'm deeply grateful for the support and guidance I received.

Jade has been a great support for my daughter in navigating the challenges of school life, especially when it comes to managing conflicts, managing stress and regulating her temper. Jade has created a safe, comfortable environment where my daughter feels she can talk openly and honestly. Went through highs and lows and in the end got my life back. The honesty in therapy was wat stood out most. I was faced with the fact it was never about the food. Not focussing on food but the feelings that were covered helped me process all that stood in the way if living my life. It’s so easy to do nothing, but it’s much more powerful to act and fight for your right to live. I worked hard for years. Found peace and the love of my life (literally being in treatment) who I can call my husband. The greatest thing I ever learned is to love and be loved in return.
