About 5 Dental & Skin
5 Dental & Skin is a well established private practice that provides treatments that deal with all oral health issues. They pride themselves on excellent customer service as can be seen by their many reviews. A full range of specialist treatments are provided in a relaxed setting with a highly trained clinical team and cuting edge technology. They pride themselves on the highest levels of cross infection control.
They take time to discuss any oral health issues you may be experiencing prior to your oral health check. This allows for patients to express any previous dental experiences and any treatment requirements. They also take into account dietary habits, medical or social factors that may have an effect. All treatment options are discussed, along with pros and cons and how they are beneficial to your long term Oral Health.
There is an on-site laboratory located at 5 Dental & Skin with our full time technician providing Stauman implant work, ceramic veneers and complex porcelain bridgework. Full and partial dentures and same-day denture repairs and modifications.
They also have wheelchair access at the surgery and can accommodate patients in their ground floor surgery.
Anxious patients can be sedated by our in house sedationists, which can be combined with any of our routine or surgical treatments, including wisdom teeth removal and skin biopsies.

Having been a patient for over 30 years, I have to say the treatment I have received has been consistently flawless and delivered with care, professionalism and consideration. I joined the Practice Plan which saves money when more than a check up or hygienist appointment is needed – so worthwhile as I needed some restorative work carried out. In a nutshell: Excellent dental practice. Polite, professional staff, up to date treatment carried out to high standards.

I had two fillings booked, but I was a bit apprehensive about my visit, but Kirsten was excellent, she put me at ease and talked me through what she’d be doing and then did the fillings. There was no discomfort during the procedure and I was pleased with the overall results, and hopefully that will be the last two fillings I’ve ever have 😊

An hour and a half in the dentist chair is never an experience to relish but Kirsten and her assistant did everything to make things as easy and as comfortable as possible. The end result being a successful outcome to the treatment and a pain free experience
