Buttons residential care home is designed for children (any gender) who have severe learning disabilities or severe physical disabilities. Conditions that Buttons can offer support for include autism, ADHD, attachment difficulties, as well as complex or challenging health care needs or behaviours.
The highly trained staff at Buttons offer personalised support and encourage the children they care for to become more independent and confident in their daily activities. They understand this may look different for each individual and so provide tailored care for each child. Family members are involved in every step of their child's care and are encouraged to meet with the team regularly to ensure daily routines are adapted as the child's personal needs change.
The care home consists of five bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge, a therapy room, and a garden complete with a hot tub. It is located close to schools and has accessible transport options. Children at Buttons are fully supported in every aspect of their lives and are encouraged to access opportunities outside the home as well as within it.
