Very smooth throughout the whole process from the initial discussion with the Lead Coordinator (Sean), Eye measurements staff, Nurse consultation, Optometrist and video consultation with the Surgeon. The operation procedure was smoothly coordinated as were the follow up checks.

From the initial welcome to current follow up check up after Galaxy lens provided for both left and right eyes the service has been excellent. Following initial testing the guidance, providing details of the various stages of the cataract operation procedures, prospective achievement of operation, with risks clearly indicated. On the test days it was explained what tests would be done, reinforcing the plain English provided in literature supplied. Waiting was minimal and outcomes explained with dates set for initial left eye operation. A follow up phone discussion by Daniel indicated procedure and he answered questions clearly. On the day of the operation after being welcomed again by Sean , Daniel carried out additional observations prior to the operation after Theatre Preparation. The Theatre staff made sure that I was comfortable throughout the operation with Daniel explaining what was happening when appropriate. The same was repeated two weeks later for the operation on the right eye. The results the day following were very good and have continued to date. I would have no hesitation in refering anyone who needs cataract treatment to use the excellent Team and facilities provided. I am and have been driving from day 3 after the left eye (first) operation (except after interim testing after 7 day) and no longer need to use glasses and have reduced the size of text on my Kindle, for when reading. Looking forward to final tests in three weeks time and discharge, by which time expect vision will be as good as prior to time , in my 40's when I needed to start wearing glasse...
