It was a nice visit at the private hospital at Moorfields hospital. I meet Dr Saha for discussed my Cataract. He was very helpful to arrange this done in a short time. His administrator Robyn was also very helpful.

In every way my experience was excellent apart from contact with my nurse, Sara’ya, who I found to be unprofessional and distracted, operating on her own timetable. She frequently checked her personal phone & also took personal calls whilst in the consultation room. I felt very annoyed by her cavalier attitude & it marred an otherwise v positive experience.

I was impressed with the staff and the rapport between them. One of the nurses said how much she enjoyed working at Moorfields and I could understand why. If I have a criticism if is about the lack of information about life after my operation. I had been given an NHS leaflet about cataracts which stated that you may well be able to go back to work the next day. I am retired but that set my expectations. I had both my cataracts removed as a private patient. I had to revert to the internet to establish what was normal when, after five days, my sight was still poor and I was beginning to worry. The first paper I came across was incredibly helpful, set much more realistic expectations and I stopped worrying. I feel the information should have come from Moorfields not the interenety.
