The staff have all been great, they have been very helpful and supportive throughout the journey. The facilities are top notch, with lots of high tech equipment. Now about the surgery, the difference in my vision is incredible!!! i can make out fine detail that i had never noticed before and everything seems more defined, i just wish I had done it sooner

Amazing experience and after care. Dr Pillai is brilliant and the team are highly trained, skilled and professional. AVC really do care about their patients, I couldn't recommend them enough!!

if I were to use one word for my entire experience with AVC, i would say exemplary. From my initial enquiry right through to my aftercare appointments I have felt totally supported and genuinely cared for at every stage by both the medical and administrative staff. Taking the decision to undergo surgery to your eyes is a huge decision to make, and finding the best team is essential. I m confident I did just that. Thank you to Dr. Pillai, professor Philip and all at AVC for your expertise and care, I couldn't have been in better hands.

Mr Pillai is clearly an expert in his field and put me at ease immediately. I was nervous before the procedure but he was confident and calm, took me through what he was going to do in detail and talked to me throughout. I was also hugely grateful when a couple of weeks after the surgery (when I had rubbed something into my eye and was panicking about the blurriness) he saw me same-day out of clinic hours to check nothing sinister was going on, provide alternative drops and advice, and reassurance. Very impressed with his expertise and manner- i would definitely recommend him
