Excellent and very helpful advice

I did not proceed with the prescribed Nanoknife treatment, since I decided to have my prostrate removed. This is due to the stage of my cancer, which according to the NHS consultant is a bit advanced. The consultation I had with Mr. Nigam was informative and helpful. However, the experience I had with the clinic's handling of my appointment was unsatisfactory. Apart from the initial email from your Patient Advocate, I did not receive any other updates or correspondences as to how the proceed. Since I did not receive any call from anyone about the process, I tried to call the clinic and no one was able to help. I was passed onto several departments but none can address my questions. I sincereley believe that the clinic could have done better in trying to contact me, by email or phone, to let me know the next steps. I assume I was not important enough as a client, so I decided to go for a different path. I duly informed Mr Nigam about not going through with the procedure. He called me to express his dissatisfaction about my decision, and that there was a considerable effort to get me a surgery date with the clinic. I understand his dismay, but I did not have the chance to remind him that I am the patient and that I have the option to chang my mind - which he mentioned during the consultation. I hope the clinic improves their customer service and hope no one else will have to undergo the same experience I went through.

The key factor in my treatment was the exceptional quality, skill and expertise of the consultant Mr. Laniado. I believe that he and his selected team including imaging clinics provided the very best treatment available for me. It did not impact my treatment, but the Princess Grace Hospital and London Clinic did appear to be more efficient and less pedestrian than the Princess Margaret at Windsor

I saw Mr Nigam who is assisted in all things admin by Jessica. My prostate cancer was thus treated quickly and effectively using HIFU and 3 months on, my PSA was right down with what I believe are far fewer side effects than would have been the case with other feasible options. So far so good! Glad I called!
