Founded with a mission to improve the lives of individuals with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions and chronic diseases through exercise, TrackActive integrates evidence-based technology with physiotherapy expertise. Originating in Australia in 2013, TrackActive initially launched 'TrackActive Pro' in 2015, a clinical exercise and outcomes measurement software tailored for healthcare professionals. The success prompted expansion into the UK by 2016, culminating in the introduction of 'TrackActive Me' in March 2020, aimed at empowering users with a self-help approach.

TrackActive collaborates with the NHS, Sport England, General Reinsurance Group, insurers, and employers to facilitate the management and recovery of MSK conditions. Emphasising clinical safety and efficacy, TrackActive Me holds registration as a UKCA and CE Class 1 Medical Device with the MHRA, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards of application safety and effectiveness. This involves thorough evaluation of chat assessment algorithms, diagnoses, and exercise programs by experienced health professionals and the clinical governance team at London South Bank University.
