Back in spring 2024 I did a a hair transplant at VeraClinic. The decision was more of spontaneous as I never planned or was thinking about hair transplant. In my case I had already a severe baldness on top of my head, however my sides and back were fine. So in general I needed to make a decision, either I cut my hairs bald or try to do something about. The decision was to give it a try. When I arrived in Istanbul, VeraClinic arranged for my airport transfer, which made things easy and stress-free. The clinic is modern and comfortable, with friendly staff who made me feel welcome right from the start. The consultation was thorough, and I appreciated how they explained the entire process in detail, making sure I knew exactly what to expect. The transplant surgery took 2 days, during which they transplanted a total of ~10,000 grafts. They called it the VeraMax program. Typically surgery takes one day, and since my case was a bit extreme, I am happy that the procedure went smoothly. The doctors and nurses were incredibly skilled and attentive, which made me feel confident in their care. While at clinic new guys were asking if it hurts and how is the procedure itself. In my case the whole procedure was ok and the most difficult time was to wait until all things I done. I didn't feel pain or major discomfort. I had a hair transplant in Vera Clinic in March of 2024. It was a pleasant experience from start to finish. I found the clinic was very clean and modern. The clinic staff were very helpful and explained each part of the process. They also answered any questions I had and put my mind at ease. The procedure itself, although long, was absolutely fine and went really well. The follow-up treatments/checks the next day were thorough and again each part was explained. My scalp healed really well and I'm looking forward to seeing the results in the coming months. One criticism I have is regarding payment methods. I asked my rep about paying online but I was told it was too close to the procedure date to pay online, that I should have used the link 10 days prior to my operation date... a link I was never sent. When I rang the clinic about this matter, they said they'd get back to me but never did. I also found that the (optional) supplements/products are on the more expensive side. I would have no hesitation in recommending Vera Clinic. Overall, my experience was a pleasant and well organised one. Update: I’m now almost 6 months post procedure and I’m delighted with the results.

The medical consultant Kayra was very helpful in clearing all doubts related to the procedure and managed everything from start to finish. She replies every question swiftly and as promised she got every part of this journey completed without any issues. I also would like to thank the entire team Ibrahim, Alice, Yusuf as well as Dr. Kareem for such welcoming experience and making me feel comfortable. Surgery was done without any complications and they have explained the post procedure instructions well to be followed. 4months in and I’m very satisfied with my results. The donor area has completely healed and no scars , the recipient area is showing good density and I’m very happy with the progress . Can’t wait for full results soon .

33 yr old female hair transplant patient I am 5 months post op and I am very happy with the results so far. I can see visible darkening of the crown area and 'baby hairs' all along the hairline. I had hoped for more at this point but I understood that it takes 12 months to see the final result. The communication, the hotel and pickup arrangements, the staff and surgery all went really smoothly. I was very impressed. It's a well oiled machine. I did have a lot of swelling for a whole week, I had a different face the whole time, but I contacted the team and they helped me at the clinic as soon as it started. The surgery itself was only painful at the beginning when they injected the anesthesia but after that it was ok. It's a long and tiring procedure so dress comfortably and eat/sleep well before. I would definitely recommend them and I would consider the clinic for other operations in the future. The only thing that I would advise against is purchasing the shampoo and serums if you have long hair. It may not suit your hair type and then it's a waste. My hair is very dry afterwards. It may suit men more as they tend to shave and keep their hair short, but I have a lot of hair in the back and this shampoo didn't suit me at all. Overall, wonderful experience and I'm so happy I did my research and chose Vera Clinic.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms quite clean. Unfortunately, there were quite a few hidden costs and decisions to make which would have been needed in advance (before the trip).
