Dr. Fathima Mahomed is a Consultant Acute General Paediatrician. She is highly experienced with 25 years spent practicing in the field of paediatrics. She is sees children with acute issues, of which she can provide same day appointments, as well as children with more long-term (chronic) issues like asthma, eczema and constipation.
Dr. Mahomed is experienced with paediatric treatment, and she has a passion for her work; enjoying the rewards and the challenges it brings every day. She is a strong believer that children need a friendly face, friend, doctor and Paediatrician right from the beginning of their lives, making healthcare a pleasant experience for children and encouraging them to live healthy and happy lives. Dr. Mahomed offers every child health surveillance, acute care when a child is unwell, discussing any general concerns, as well as years of Paediatric input into the child's life as they grow happily and healthily. She is aware of the challenges that the journey of parenting brings, and she works hard to treat children with the highest quality care, as well as reassuring parents. She aims to be a holistic known part of a child's family and a friendly face that children will grow to know and trust throughout their childhood, creating a strong foundation for later life.
Dr. Mahomed sees all Paediatric patients from birth through to their eighteenth birthday, and so has a very broad experience of the issues can can occur during childhood. She is able to treat most common problems and acute issues, if she sees a child of whom she would advise a more specialist opinion, she is able to refer to the correct doctor to ensure the best possible treatment. Vaccine reviews( for travel or change of country) as well as Vaccinations are given daly to patients who require these.

Dr Fathima was extremely kind and patient with our son who recently suffered in pertussis. Dr explained the treatment plan very well and also advised us on supportive treatment.

Dr Fathima saw our 2-year-old boy when he was very ill from the flu. You could tell she had a lot of experience dealing with children and was great with him. He stayed calm throughout the examination and she was quickly able to identify he had developed a chest and ear infection. He was much better 3 days after her prescribed treatment plan. She was very reassuring to us parents and approachable in case we needed follow-ups and subsequent check-ups. Would highly recommend her!

Dr Mahomed has been looking after both of my daughters and has magic ability to not only treat my girls, but calm me down. She is the only person I know who can get toddler to open their mouth for a test without a tantrum. Admin side of the service is also impeccable: appointments can be booked with a reasonably short notice, clinical letters are sent promptly, follow -ups scheduled seamlessly.
The team and I are always happy to hear you have found the journey with us a pleasant one.

Dr Mahomed has an incredible way of making you feel calm as soon as you meet her. My son took to her immediately. She gets to the point, doesn’t scare monger and has always found the solution to our son’s issues, where GPs haven’t. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

Dr Fatima has a very confident and reassuring manner. It feels good to have someone to oversee my son's health. My only complaint would be that the appointment time is too short.

Dr Mahomed offered our daughter an exceptional quality of care. She was very thorough in her assessment and clear in her instructions. We would highly recommend her for her professionalism and her humane and sensitive approach.

Super friendly, very smart and engaging with our kid, good explanation of tests and instruments for kids, and of details for the parents. Overall great experience and would love to make further appointments.
