I was very pleased to have been treated by Mr Parbhoo. He did a fantastic job of listening, examining, explaining, and treating my jaw condition. I made a very conscious choice to be seen by him in particular and travelled around an hour each way in order to do so and have never regretted doing so.

Thorough explanation of every stage of the process from initial assessment to discharge. I felt very confident about Mr Parbhoo's treatment of my condition.

We were referred to Mr Parbhoo by Mr Farook who sang his praises. I have to admit I was happy to see he was exactly as described. He made my daughter feel at ease and explained exactly what the issue was and how she needed to be treated. He has a lovely calm and reassuring bedside manner which makes you feel at ease.

Oral & Maxillofacial SurgeryAlan was the best trainee that I was privileged To help train. From the start it was clear that his operative skills were excellent and that he was a thinking surgeon who could apply his knowledge to adapt and improve operations. We were fortunate that he was appointed to our surgical network and has therefore been a colleague for not far of 10 yrs now. He cares greatly about the care of his patients looking after them in an exemplary manner. He leads on patient safety, is the East of England lead for TMJ surgery and joint replacement procedures. He has introduced new ways of planning surgery...

Oral & Maxillofacial SurgeryMr Parbhoo and I worked together at an OMFS unit (he was a senior colleague at the time). He always explained procedures thoroughly, was patient with me (and other trainees) and let us get stuck in, guiding us where needed. His knowledge on subject matters he taught/trained was vast and he showed me what sort of beside manner eased patients concerns and anxieties before any procedure. He always aimed for excellence in all that he put his hand to (either during consultations or procedures). I would add that he is one of the oral-maxillofacial surgeons that I would be more than happy to refer ...

The patient had an unusual and aggressive bone cyst of the jaw joint which was expanding, causing her cheek to swell, and she could only eat an extremely soft diet in the few months prior to surgery. She required a complex operation to remove a sizeable portion of her jaw and replace it with an extended total TMJ replacement.
