About Dr. Rebecca Poet
Dr Poet is a GP with over ten years of experience in Women's Health and is known for her empathetic, holistic and evidence-based approach. Rebecca believes that the correct balance of hormones holds the key to a woman's emotional and physical well-being and she founded The Women's Hormone Clinic to provide women with the opportunity to fully explore their symptoms and to provide high quality, bespoke treatments to address them.
Rebecca initially qualified for medicine in 2003, from Guy's, King's and St. Thomas Hospital Medical School. After graduating, she move to the South Coast to undertake her postgraduate training and has worked as a General Practitioner here for 10 years. Rebecca has trained extemsively with the British Menopause Society and the Marion Gluck Training Academy for Bioidentical Hormones, and has also completed her Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.
At The Women's Hormone Clinic, Rebecca offers bespoke packages of regulated Bioidentical HRT as well as compounded Bioidentical HRT to address symptoms commonely arising from PMS, the perimenopause and menopause as well as the management of osteoporosis.

Dr. Rebecca Poet is very friendly, caring and easy to talk to. I 100% recommend her to anyone who is thinking about hormone treatment. I didn't have the kind of symptoms that I'd heard of (like hot flushes) so I didn't initially realise that I needed HRT. My symptoms were high anxiety, memory loss, loss of confidence and a terrible feeling of 'doom' - I just didn't feel like ME anymore. I'm a singer and the memory loss and extreme anxiety was making my life extremely difficult. However, my symptoms improved extremely quickly when I started HRT. Now, my memory is excellent again (I'm back to learning and performing music with no problems at all!) My self-confidence is back which is obviously important for general life but it also means I feel very confident singing - and chatting to - audiences. It's like the sunshine has come out again!
