Dr Satyen Singhai is a general practitioner based at Crocus Medical Practice in Essex where he conducts clinical sessions and runs the minor surgery/joint injection clinics. He has a broad range of experience and prides himself on listening to and addressing patient concerns and questions in easily understood terms. He also collaborates with other members of the medical team to deliver comprehensive and holistic care to his patients.

Dr Singhai gained his MB ChB from the University of Manchester in 1995 before earning his MRCGP with merit in 2004. Following this, he worked as a GP in North London whilst studying for a diploma in forensic medicine and bioethics and gained Membership of The Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine (MFFLM). He also spent time working in Holloway Prison and Great Chapel Street, a homeless clinic in Soho, London; this work gave him particular expertise in dealing with complex cases of co-existing mental health, alcohol, and drug misuse problems. In 2012, he gained his RCGP (1&2) in the management of drug misuse. He has also worked in cardiology and intensive care in rural Australia and in paediatrics in New Zealand. In addition, he has vast experience in occupational medicine as a result of his time spent as a GP for the Ministry of Defence.

Dr Singhai has an interest in dermatology and dermoscopy and is currently undertaking the MSc in Clinical Dermatology at the University of Hertfordshire.
