im a bit late in doing this review but i had radiotherapy at genesis Birmingham at the end of Feb and into March this year. it was wonderful having a driver collect me and my husband each day a Sutton Coldfield isn't close to where we live. All the staff we saw on site were friendly, welcoming and supportive. The centre itself whilst being a medical centre doesn't feel very medical so you can forget a little the reason you're there. I highly recommend genesis Birmingham.

From the radiologists to the oncology nurses, administrative staff, and patient care coordinators, every single person we encountered treated us with warmth, dignity, and unwavering professionalism. I cannot fault the way I was looked after during chemotherapy then Radiotherapy. All the staff we're very friendly, helpful and reassuring, a lovely, calming environment, the care i recieved was first class.

Lovely surroundings to be when going through the worst time in your life. Having been a patient here for a year the welcome at reception is wonderful. The staff at alternative therapies and the gym are caring and wonderful. The nursing team at Chemo are lovely on the whole, however there have been times I’ve felt awkward and a nuisance to them especially the manager who doesn’t come across as partially warm which has left me very upset at times. In additions the breast care nurse hasn’t been in touch following my op months ago which I can’t fathom. All in all I’m happy with Genesis Care - I just think they need a slight tweak in their processes and their compassion.
