I booked an appointment with Dr Purohit to discuss potential fertility options post fibroid removal surgery. Dr Purohit took time to explain options in depth with care and sensitivity. I really appreciated his patience and kindness at quite an overwhelming time, guiding me through everything in detail and helping me come up with some potential options for me. I was seen by Miss Roopa Bangari exactly at the appointment time. Miss Bangari was very careful and professional during the examination. However, she did not mention anything about an ulcer-like lesion at the time. She explained that all is likely normal in older women who had given natural births. She advised that only the external irritation needed treatment, and she prescribed a cream. I was surprised that she prescribed a vaginal tablet as well for healing because she indicated that the vaginal canal appeared normal. Later, I learned from the report that she had observed a “small ulcer-like lesion,” which was not communicated to me during the appointment. She writes: "This is likely a called lichen sclerosis. It is a benign condition". At the end of the report Miss Bangari mentioned: "However, if this does not get better, then you may need a vulva biopsy under local anaesthetic." And now I think the biopsy should be organised anyway.

I saw Mr Savvas - he was so friendly and patient, he really put me at ease. I would highly recommend him. He asked good questions and was very empathetic. I felt like I was getting sound advice and felt looked after. Excellent.

Mr Masood kindly explained about what was going to be investigated, the findings of the scans and took time to explain the processes and next steps. Overall, it was a good experience.
