I was very impressed with my whole experience. Mr Scala’s approach was both warm and friendly. He put my mind at ease from my first assessment. He was thorough and communicative throughout my initial examination. By its very nature an eye operation can be unnerving. Again mr Scala’s approach and manner put me at my ease. There was music on in the background which gave my mind something to focus on. Throughout the operation mr Scala spoke to me explaining what was going on and what he was about to do. The nursing staff both pre and post op were superb. Mr Scala’s PA again was first class. Communication was warm, friendly, very helpful and professional. The outcome of my eye operation was very successful. Despite mr Scala being someone I hope I never have to see again 😊, I cannot praise him and his Team more highly.

Mr Niall Patton performed cataract surgery on my eyes in Dec. '24 and Jan. '25. I went to see him on the recommendation of my optometrist and after looking closely at all reviews. Not only is he highly regarded by his peers as a surgeon, but he has an excellent manner with patients. He explains things very clearly and points out the various options and the expected outcomes. I was particularly impressed with the way in which he spoke with the nursing staff in the theatre as well as with me the patient. Imo he is an exceptional practitioner, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Furthermore, he has a competent admin team and everything runs smoothly from the first consultation to discharge. Aftercare is very important and again, Mr Patton is exceptionally thorough.

My experience for my first eye was very good. He explained everything throughout the procedure and I felt okay. My second eye procedure done by Ms Batt wasn't a pleasant experience and I felt uncomfortable and in discomfort.

During my treatment and hospital checkups, Mr Moussa has acknowledged the difficulties I have experienced related to the loss of sight in my left eye. His explanations were tailored to my level of understanding, with exceptional detail to ensure that every aspect of treatments available were offered and explored. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Mr Moussa for his professionalism and care during my treatment.

I was absolutely terrified of the surgery having been told I had cataracts l in both eyes at a relatively young age. Mr Gonzalez was extremely reassuring, supportive and explained everything in great detail. He also took time discussing with me the best lens for me and the results are amazing. I am three days post second eye and 3 weeks post first eye and my life is changed completely and I cannot thank Mr Gonzales enough. I would recommend Mr Gonzalez on every level. His care, and expertise are second to none. Thankyou Pedro for the gift of great sight.
