I was very impressed with my whole experience. Mr Scala’s approach was both warm and friendly. He put my mind at ease from my first assessment. He was thorough and communicative throughout my initial examination. By its very nature an eye operation can be unnerving. Again mr Scala’s approach and manner put me at my ease. There was music on in the background which gave my mind something to focus on. Throughout the operation mr Scala spoke to me explaining what was going on and what he was about to do. The nursing staff both pre and post op were superb. Mr Scala’s PA again was first class. Communication was warm, friendly, very helpful and professional. The outcome of my eye operation was very successful. Despite mr Scala being someone I hope I never have to see again 😊, I cannot praise him and his Team more highly.

While other surgeons are travelling the world on conferences for most of the year. Mr Scala is helping his patients practically everyday. I did a lot of research before I met Mr Scala 12m ago and I have been treated privately by him for routine eye surgery. He has also treated me for an unexpected macular oedema. I recall vividly waiting to see Mr Scala at MREH, feeling petrified that something serious was wrong with my eye.
