I am not sure from this survey which appointment I am commenting on. It is an out patient survey, so I’m assuming it was when I went to the Private eye centre in Bath Street about a month ago. I found the venue confusing, but perhaps this was because I hadn’t been there before. I checked in, staff were polite but not friendly. I was directed to where to wait. The coffee machine was not working. I pointed this out and was sent to a different floor to get coffee. I waited and was collected by a nurse for initial screening. Then was directed to sit somewhere else. I never particularly felt confident that I was in the right place, although it turned out ok in the end. I had to wait a long time to pay at the end and to collect prescribed drops and tablets. The pharmacist almost argued with me about the prescription. I didn’t think this was vey good when a consultant had just handed it to me upstairs.

My first treatment at Moorfields. It was busy so there was some waiting involved. The actual treatment was more painful than I am used to. The operating room experience slightly chaotic in spite of the professionalism and charm of the surgeon.

Having used Moorfields Private on a number of occasions I have always found the staff excellent to deal with. The consultants here are some of the best in the world who truly care about your eyes. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Everything and everyone was first class. An excellent experience from start to finish. I can’t recommend the staff, Hospital and the superb results after my lens replacement and cataracts operation more highly.

The recpetion was friendly. The nurse that did the tests and rhe optician were all very friendly and quick. The doctor was friendly explained everything and was helpful. The dr secretary was somewhat unfriendly the way she spoke and even when i asked her a question twice she was annoyed! I arrived at 6 as they said they would squeeze me a bit early, i was there till 8.15 which is rather a very long period!!!
