In addition to providing thoughtful and reassuring consultations, Dr Elsheikh also carried out several procedures during my hospital care. His calm and professional manner made a potentially daunting experience feel far more manageable. He took the time to explain everything clearly beforehand and ensured I felt comfortable and safe throughout. The level of care and attention he showed was outstanding, and I felt genuinely supported every step of the way.

Well treated and very attentive staff throughout my stay and treatment.

The failings were classic communication problems between the pre-op team and various of the/their nursing staff. This resulted in cancellation of a procedure as a result of discussion with the anaesthetist just before the procedure was due to begin. He asked when I had stopped taking my Apixaban. I said I had followed instructions from the pre-op team. However these instructions were incorrect and had also been written wrongly in a report.

Staff friendly and reassuring. Hygiene was spot on. Working practices followed. Looked after me very well in my initial recovery, nothing too much trouble.
