When I had my first appointment with Dr O’Dwyer, I had chronic daily migraine which had left me unable to work, exercise, or even look after myself on a day to day basis. Standard migraine medications from the GP gave me absolutely no relief and I was feeling hopeless that the situation would ever improve. Dr O’Dwyer was calm, kind, and reassuring giving me an in depth explanation of the pathophysiology of migraine and why I was suffering. At every step he has presented all my medical options, discussed the pharmacology of how they work, given me a good idea of the likelihood of each option working and the costs involved, and let me decide which treatments I would like to try. I’m delighted to now be back at work, exercising and able to live a life with only occasional migraines thanks to the treatments I am on and Dr O’Dwyer’s outstanding ongoing care.

Dr O'Dwyer was very professional and thorough. He took time to explain each test he was conducting and his overall conclusion. He listened attentively to my comments and questions and made sure to address each of my points clearly and fully. At no time did I feel rushed and I felt part of the overall consultation. At the end I felt reassured that the proposed approach was thorough and I understood what was required;
