I did egg sharing with the Lister and highly recommend this programme if you are open to donating eggs while securing your own future. It's a great option if you have good fertility. The screening tests will give you invaluable insight into your own family planning prospects. Dr. Timothy Bracewell-Milnes is excellent. The protocol given was highly personalised, not generic like some other clinics. The nurses monitored me closely throughout and gave personalised tips. After a health complication arose that normally would have obliged me to withdraw, the doctor personally advocated for me to continue treatment. He's no-nonsense and shows real investment in getting you the best outcomes, adjusting my dose as soon as conditions allowed. (Apparently he has a high reputation clients, unsurprisingly!) All the consultant doctors I spoke with (5 in total!) and nurses were well-briefed on my case, showing how well their team communicates and works together! (After hearing different stories from other clinics) In the end, I was able to bank enough eggs for myself while donating to others, which is amazing. I would have been happy to self-fund egg freezing, but the option to give back, especially in a low-supply ethnicity and after seeing friends struggle with infertility, made it more rewarding. Coming from a blended family, I'm familiar with open communication and respect for individual preferences.
