Dr Ahsan has been treating me on and off for 5 years and has been really reassuring and helpful each time I have seen him. Dr Ahsan is outstanding in every way. He always immediately makes me feel at ease and that he genuinely cares about my health. He is always well prepared for my appointments. He asks pertinent questions and takes the time to listen to my answers and discuss them with me. He always gives me an opportunity to ask him my questions or express my worries and gives me considered answers. He is very experienced and always finds solutions that will suit my personal health needs. For example, he has gone out of his way to help me to be able to take long haul flights for holidays and is equally helpful with minor concerns as well. He thinks very carefully about the appropriate medication needed for my particular condition at the time so that my AF issues have been corrected with increased medication and then reduced as soon as appropriate so that now my heart is behaving well and I am taking much less medication than I have for many years. I have complete trust in him. He is excellent.

I was diagnosed with hypertension following a routine health check, which led to a very worrying and stressful time. However, from my very first consultation with Dr Syed Ahsan, those concerns were quickly eased. His calm, reassuring manner, clear explanations, and expert guidance gave me confidence and clarity at a difficult moment. If I could give more than 5 stars to Dr. Ashan, I would ***** I started experiencing SVT in 2022. I was a 32 year old, fit female. Naturally, this was overwhelming and unknown as I didn't understand what was happening to my body. After seeing countless cardiologists, I finally found Dr. Ashan and I have never looked back since. He immediately diagnosed me correctly and had a plan of action. Not only was it evident from the beginning that he is a highly specialised expert in the field, but his nature is very calming and he gives you time. Never forcing you to make a decision. I finally decided to have the catheter ablation done in March 2025 in the Cromwell Hospital and my life has completely changed. I had a textbook AVNRT type of tachycardia and he and the team managed to successfully ablate the extra electrical pathway. The whole process was like a well oiled machine and as I was only sedated, I managed to be present at times throughout the procedure which turned out extremely interesting. Dr. Ashan kept speaking to me through the whole process and the environment was calming even though there is a large group of people part of the process. I experienced no pain or discomfort throughout the surgery. I couldn't believe when they were done as I felt almost nothing. The Cromwell hospital and the team was exceptional. I am now off my beta blockers and I have experienced no heart discomfort post surgery. The healing of the groin post opp is the most inconvenience you will have post surgery. Dr. Ahsan is the most compassionate healthcare professional I have had the pleasure of engaging with. He takes his time to convey complex medical information in a simple way, and takes care in setting expectations around potential diagnoses and treatment options. I can't thank him enough for his care.

I contacted Dr Ahsan to secure proper advice regarding treatment for atrial fibrillation and avoid treatment delays. A range of treatment options were considered. The advice received was excellent and the planned cardiac ablation procedure was very clearly explained. There were no post - procedure problems. Everything proceeded very smoothly which only reflects the skills of Dr Ahsan and his team. Furthermore, I very much appreciated the management and organisational skills of Lucy Nash, his Practice Manager. I now feel fully recovered and have none of the former symptoms.

I was given a thorough explanation of the procedure and after-care and the reality was exactly as expected. Dr Ahsan showed empathy and kindness at a time I found very stressful and scary. Dr Ahsan has been my cardiologist for the past eight years, ever since I experienced a sudden cardiac arrest. He operated on me twice and I have visited him for regular check ups. I have full confidence in his professional expertise. I have appreciated his accessibility, the clarity of his explanations, and the practicality of his advice. I wasn’t sure which private consultant I should go to at first, then I came across Dr Ahsan’s clinic online. I am so thankful to Dr Ahsan and his team at the Cromwell Hospital. They are without a doubt the most professional and skilled team of doctors I have ever met. From my first consultation to my post op meeting, Dr Ahsan has been incredible. He really goes above and beyond to reassure his patients and instils deep trust and confidence in his treatment plan. The ablation was scheduled two weeks after initial consultation (NHS waiting list was 2 years). I was admitted and out of the hospital in the same evening. Recovery was 1 week. 1 month post op, I had a consultation to discuss my recovery and ECG results. Dr Ahsan even went the extra mile to help me with some post care obstacles caused by my medical condition. I cannot recommend Dr Ahsan enough, he wholeheartedly cares for his patients and brings the highest standard of medical care available. Writing to express my sincere appreciation for Dr Ahsan. 4 years after Dr Ahsan's ablation procedure for me, a check up with one of his colleagues at the London Heart Clinic, Dr Das, reveals my heart still in very acceptable sinus rhythm and my severely impaired Ejection Fraction (c. 20% or so prior to the ablation) still at 50%-60%.
