Dr Harris was extremely professional, kind, caring, helpful & most understanding and put me at my ease over a very difficult, personal, private issue for me. He fully explained everything in an understandable way. He had a very kind, approachable & cheerful manner. I was very concerned & stressed about seeing him but realised that I did not have to be at all. He had been recommended to me by a receptionist at the Tunbridge Wells Nuffield Hospital as being very good and she obviously was correct. He also understood my financial circumstances. Specialists like him a very, very few even when one pays privately. He very fully explained everything including what he would write to my doctor/ GP. I was very glad that it was him that I had chosen to see and would/ will recommend him to others without reservation. I was going to write by post to Thank him very much for all of his help & understanding & care & professionalism etc. I would like HIM to know that I have made all of these comments……… even if they are used anonymously for any reason. Absolutely brilliant doctor. A real breath of fresh air from the norm. Extremely respectful with good listening skills and explanation. So pleased to have found a good gastroenterologist for now and my future as I’m sure I will consult him again if needed. Highly recommended.

Professional and good explanation

I saw Mr Kukreja to help deal with stage 4 bowel cancer. Mr Kukreja undertook an operation on me to remove the tumour from my bowel (an anterior resection). My experience was excellent. From the build up to the operation, through the day of the operation itself, and the follow up, Mr Kukreja was always very clear in his explanations and very pleasant to deal with. He seemed to inherently appreciate the level of detail I was happy to receive and pitched our conversations accordingly. The operation itself couldn't have gone any better. It was completely successful in removing the tumour and very low impact to me personally. I did not need a stoma and my wounds healed up very quickly to the extent I was effectively back to normal within a couple of weeks (which was very beneficial as it meant I could move on with my other required treatments much quicker than otherwise may have been the case). I genuinely couldn't recommend Mr Kukreja highly enough.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe the care provided by Dr Asante. It is also always a pleasure dealing with Kathy whose manner is professional and warm.
