Dr Harris was extremely professional, kind, caring, helpful & most understanding and put me at my ease over a very difficult, personal, private issue for me. He fully explained everything in an understandable way. He had a very kind, approachable & cheerful manner. I was very concerned & stressed about seeing him but realised that I did not have to be at all. He had been recommended to me by a receptionist at the Tunbridge Wells Nuffield Hospital as being very good and she obviously was correct. He also understood my financial circumstances. Specialists like him a very, very few even when one pays privately. He very fully explained everything including what he would write to my doctor/ GP. I was very glad that it was him that I had chosen to see and would/ will recommend him to others without reservation. I was going to write by post to Thank him very much for all of his help & understanding & care & professionalism etc. I would like HIM to know that I have made all of these comments……… even if they are used anonymously for any reason. Prof.Purkayastha was absolutely brilliant. He is professional and a caring doctor. He goes into the depths to rule out any issues and reassures the patient. I have had a great experience with him.

Mr Marshall arrange to see me at short notice. He explained the situation to me quickly and clearly and helped to get my scans sorted. I was back with him for a 2nd appointment to resolve everything in under a week. By the end of the second appointment I was very happy with the situation and the explanation and felt well looked after.

Friendly appointments where I felt at ease. Explanations were excellent and I was able to understand what my problem was and how the surgery would be performed without difficulty. Overall a very good experience.

Dr Mohammadi is a consummate professional. I’m quite a critical person but have been hugely impressed by his respectful approach, empathy, and honest explanations. Judging by my surgery, he is also highly skilled and as a result my recovery time is a fraction of what it would have been.

Dr Sarmed Sami heard my concerns and recommended lab tests to get to the bottom of the issue. I was advised to wait until Mayo Clinic reaches out to me with further steps but it has been more than 2 weeks with no news. I have called and chased but heard nothing. I am still in pain and will be looking to go to another consultant as I cannot wait for the booking team to send me basic next steps.

Me Mukherjee was recommended to me via another consultant after a bad experience. His mannerism and approach to what I needed was amazing and his explanation of the procedure and also why he recommended surgery was very easy to understand and reassuring.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this journey. I felt embarrassed I needed the surgery but Aruna on first meeting me was kind, caring & reassuring. Probably one of the only people of seen that understands what we as obese people go through. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me start my new life. Truly amazing man.
