I owe my life and happiness to getting the help I needed and finally being able to recover. I felt truly hopeless and getting therapy was my final try to recover from my eating disorder. And it worked! It wasn’t easy, not going to lie. It was a rollercoaster but so worth it. Throughout therapy I was always reminded of the bigger picture while making small steps, one day at a time. Went through highs and lows and in the end got my life back. The honesty in therapy was wat stood out most. I was faced with the fact it was never about the food. Not focussing on food but the feelings that were covered helped me process all that stood in the way if living my life. It’s so easy to do nothing, but it’s much more powerful to act and fight for your right to live. I worked hard for years. Found peace and the love of my life (literally being in treatment) who I can call my husband. The greatest thing I ever learned is to love and be loved in return.

Jade has been a great support for my daughter in navigating the challenges of school life, especially when it comes to managing conflicts, managing stress and regulating her temper. Jade has created a safe, comfortable environment where my daughter feels she can talk openly and honestly. We have seen noticeable improvements in how she expresses herself and copes with difficult situations. The medical staff and therapists were very caring, attentive and supportive. The nursing and support staff are amazing and keep spirits high as well as delivering the highest standard care.

Steve is engaged and attentive all while remaining professional with his work. He asks deliberate questions which promote reflection and challenge the ways I think. He has always been well organised with booking sessions and flexible with rearranging on occasions where I may be busy. It is clear he has substantial knowledge and training in his field but with a personal and mindful touch. He is excellent at creating a comfortable and safe space to open up about anything I would like, as well as actively listening to things I want from therapy.

I came to CATCH after struggling with addiction problems for many years. The 28 day rehab programme was truly life-changing. The Wellbeing and Recovery Collective provide me with a safe space to openly explore issues blocking my recovery in a group setting. James is very knowledgeable about eating disorders and has helped me understand my condition, the triggers as well as supporting me to work on strategies to stay on track with my recovery. He is a calming and encouraging presence in group. I am extremely grateful for the support I have received. My recovery has improved hugely under his guidance.
