Mr Oberholster is an experienced ophthalmic surgeon who has performed over 36,000 refractive procedures and has undergone additional specialist training in refractive surgery.
He has gained vast experience with special interests in cataract and refractive surgery and is an active member of various affiliated bodies and societies including the Ophthalmological Society of South Africa.
He has made presentations in many different countries about laser surgery and regularly attends conferences about both laser vision correction and cataract surgery allowing him to stay abreast of all developments in the advancing field of ophthalmology.
