Very professional and fast appointments

The team at the Lister at The Portland was fabulous. Unlike other clinics, you were not just a number and put through a machine. Check-in staff knew my first name, emails were replied to quickly, ad hoc requests accommodated with no fuss. Everyone was friendly, kind, and empathetic. Nurses were super patient with demonstrating how to administer medication, re-checking dosages etc, theatre personnel were full of levity and, when appropriate, seriousness. Finance staff were super keen to help too. The emergency line was a huge help and no question or situation too minor.

Very, very impressive all round. I was apprehensive ahead of my operation (it involved significant surgery and general anaesthetic), but every single person I interacted with was extremely professional, courteous, thoughtful and reassuring. I was extremely impressed with Mr Pollock, his anaesthetist (Mike) and the two orderlies who looked after me pre-op (Sam) and post-op (Marwan).

From admission to discharge, every aspect of my experience was managed with utmost professionalism and compassion. The staff demonstrated exceptional dedication, ensuring that I felt comfortable and supported throughout. I am truly thankful for the high standards of care provided by the hospital.

Seen on time. It was a very warm day though and the reception area would benefit from better air conditioning or fans.
